why do you hide
as your lips quiver?
Why must your dreams
resemble the past
awoken by screams
like sounds of shattered glass?
Your eyes are swollen,
on top of soaked pillows
for you have mistaken
the power of your woes
Which hold higher meaning
One beyond despair
that provides healing
all over you, and everywhere.
It is so important to look for the good in every situation. As spiritual beings, we must always pay attention to how our minds handle situations. If we handle a challenge with negativity and distress, the challenge will always prolong. But when facing a challenge with open-mindedness and positivity, the challenge will soon become a valuable lesson to appreciate.
